Frequent Flyer Credit Cards
Like cash-back and reward cards, Frequent Flyer credit cards reward you every time you use it. Rather than a cash reward, you earn ‘frequent flyer points’ which can then be used to purchase flights and other travel related purchases such as car hire. You will earn points each time you purchase something with your credit card, and some cards give extra benefits such as access to airport lounges. These credit cards are aimed at frequent flyers, but the way you can spend the points you accumulate and the generosity of the reward schemes can vary, so choose the card that is most suitable for your needs. There’s no point applying for a certain card if you won’t make use its benefits. A Frequent Flyer credit card is only beneficial if you pay your balance off in full each month. Otherwise, the interest you are charged on your outstanding debt will outweigh the value of the points you collect.
